On the show, Fred candidly answered questions about the departure of coach Doug Marrone. He told Bob that the departure was "bittersweet," and that the coach "burned some bridges."
Jackson noted he has played for 5 coaches during his tenure with the team.
He talked with Bob and Vic that the coaches at the Bills office now are waiting in limbo, as the interview process continues for a new leader.
When DJ Dave Jickster from 97 Rock polled the audience for questions, a member of the sold out house asked Fred if he could be coached by anyone, who would it be. Fred answered, "Jimmy Johnson!" He also said he has been rooting for the Seattle Seahawks where his former teammate and friend Marshawn Lynch plays.
What's next for the Buffalo Bills? Fred says he has complete confidence in the Pegula's to do the right thing, but noted that in the NFL you can "always expect the unexpected."
Fred and his wife Danielle make their home in Hamburg with their children, and will remain in Western New York during the off season.
One task Fred will have is to monitor the installation of a brand new home heating unit from Reimer Heating and Air. Reimer Manager Scott Murray and GM Joe Catuzza were in studio for the announcement of the winner of the heating unit – selected at random from entries received through wbbz.tv. That winner was DAVE SUGG of Grand Island, who is also a fan of the show and was in attendance in the audience. He and two other qualifiers were in the running after the names were selected at random.
Brad Gelber took Twitter questions from viewers, and completed his third season with the show connecting with our growing social media base.
WBBZ-TV welcomed sports anchor Shawn Stepner from 7 Eyewitness News who talked with Fred after the show. Watch for Vic Carucci's story on Fred's finale in The Buffalo News and at www.buffalonews.com
